2012 Pittsburgh Pirates: A 10-part Preview, starting tomorrow on Steel World Order


With Steelers football season now well behind us, the time has come to begin focusing on our beloved Battlin' Buccos.  Tomorrow is January 18 - exactly one month before pitchers and catchers report to Bradenton, FL to begin 2012 MLB Spring Training.  The Pirates are coming off their 19th straight losing season and optimism is high that this will be the year the Bucs get back to the promise land. 

The weather forecast this week in Western Pennsylvania is calling for cold, snow, and then more cold and snow.  Bundle yourself up with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the next 10 days at Steel World Order, where it is always a beautiful 78 degrees and sunny.  For ten straight days we will be talking nothing but Pittsburgh Pirates baseball here on the site.
